A Problematic Promotion


This conflict takes place in a workplace setting. In this case, a new employee has recently been hired by the Human Resources Department. She has been working in the firm for 6 months and receieves a promotion for her contribution and dedication within the 6 months of work. Whitney is an employee for serveral years experience working in the firm. She is disappointed and displeased that she was not chosen for the promotion after being with the firm for 3 years. As a result, Whitney spreads malicious rumours about Audrea between the staff such as them bribing the seniors and treating them differently to receive the promotions. Whitney, Audrea and several other employees get involved in a serious conflict with each other as the rumours spread. In this conflict scenario, we will see how the conflict unfolds and gets resolved professionally.
