A Shortage in Medical Supplies During a Pandemic

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, there is a shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) in the hospital. This has caused front-line workers to be forced to work without adequate PPE during the pandemic. Frontline workers are highly anxious and are worried about their safety along with their family and patient’s wellbeing. They want to fight the office administrator and upper management to help provide them with appropriate PPE so they can protect themselves and provide quality care for their patients. However, due to disruption of global supply of PPE, the operation team is unable to secure enough supplies to meet the demand. Supplies are locked up in a room while frontline workers only receive "essential" PPE base on their work units. This leads to a conflict between the administrators and frontline workers.
